Liquid Ring Compressor Medium & High Pressure, NAM/NASM

Capacity to 1,800 SCFM (to 3,200 m3/h)

Discharge Pressure to 88 psig (6 bar abs.)

NASH’s NAM series are rugged and reliable compressors that are capable of handling highly toxic, explosive, and corrosive gasses. They are ideal for use in petroleum refineries and chemical plants, in applications such as flare gas and Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM) recovery.

The NAM/NASM line of liquid ring compressors expands the capacity and pressure ranges of the NASH product line to meet the ever growing requirements of our customers in oil & gas, chemical and refining applications. Found primarily in petroleum refineries and chemical plants, rugged and reliable NAM/NASM compressors handle highly toxic, explosive and corrosive gases in applications such as flaregas, chlorine and Vinyl Chlorine Monomer (VCM) recovery. NAM/NASM compressors are available in single designs, and in cast iron, stainless steel, carbon steel, spheroidal cast iron, 316 stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, and Hastelloy or Titanium on select models.

Key Characteristics:
  • High-Pressure Compression
  • Single Stage Design
  • Low Maintenance Requirements
  • Double Eccentric Casing for Ideal Rotor Balance
  • Overhung Impeller with Minimal Rotating Parts

Discover Exceptional Efficiency and Low Maintenance Requirements

NAM/NASM liquid ring compressors are the premier choice for industries seeking a robust compressor technology. These advanced compressors leverage a liquid as the compression agent, effectively eliminating the friction and wear associated with metal-to-metal contact found in conventional compressors. This unique feature means that routine maintenance is largely confined to bearings and mechanical seals, positioning NAM/NASM liquid ring compressors as a near maintenance-free option for your operations.

Adaptability is a cornerstone of the NAM/NASM compressor, capable of utilizing a diverse range of liquids, from water to more complex fluids like sulphuric acid, amine, or crude oil. This flexibility ensures compatibility with a wide array of process gases and adherence to the specific metallurgical requirements of your system.

Crafted for endurance, NAM/NASM compressors are the ideal solution for the rigorous and often hazardous conditions found in the handling of wet, toxic, corrosive, flammable, or explosive gases. Their solid construction delivers consistent, low-maintenance service, making them a safe and reliable choice for high-stakes industries.

Designed for the tough demands of the chemical and petrochemical processing sectors, NAM/NASM compressors stand out for their long-lasting dependability and cost-effective operation. The strategic overhung impeller design further reduces maintenance demands, streamlining your workflow and enhancing productivity.

  • Shaft Sealing: Stuffing box (standard), Mechanical Seals (single acting/double acting) on Cartridge
  • Materials: Stainless Steel, other materials on request
