Single Stage Liquid Ring Compressor High Pressure, HP-9

Capacity to 2,500 SCFM (to 4,300 m3/h)

Discharge Pressure to 110 psig (to 8.5 bar abs.)

The NASH HP-9 liquid ring compressor series reliably handles toxic, explosive, and corrosive gases in oil & gas, petrochemical, and chemical applications including flare-gas recovery and Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM) recovery. Together with the NASH/GARO compressor models and our other liquid ring compressors, the HP-9 completes our core compressor product line by providing capacity ranging to 2,500 SCFM (to 4,300 m3/h).

Key Characteristics:

  • Versatility in Handling Hazardous Gases
  • High-Pressure Compression Capability
  • Low Maintenance and High Reliability

High-Pressure Compression for the Toughest Applications
The HP-9 compressor series offers large capacity, rugged construction, and is designed to API 681 standard. Liquid ring technology allows the HP-9 to operate with cooler operating temperatures and eliminates the need for intercoolers and aftercondensers. When water is not compatible with the process gas, alternate seal liquids can be used. In the most demanding oil & gas applications, the HP-9 compressor has the ability to scrub sour gas (H2S) from gas streams.

Known for an extremely low need for maintenance, our liquid ring compressors, including the HP-9 compressor, require minimal care. These single stage, double acting liquid ring compressors have the ability to handle excess carryover with reduced process problems resulting in increased uptime.
  • Shaft Seals: Mechanical Seals (single acting/ double acting)
  • Materials of Construction: Stainless Steel
  • Conical Porting
