People behind Nash

The outstanding performance and reliability of NASH liquid ring vacuum pumps have been proven over more than 100 years, playing an indispensable role in various industrial applications and meeting the demands of more stringent working conditions. The well-known reliability of NASH vacuum pumps exceeds the standard design requirements of general industry.

The 2BV2 liquid ring pump, with its coaxial Close-Coupled design, is a high-power and multifunctional pump that can save up to 50% of working fluid. The 2BV2 liquid ring vacuum pump/compressor has a longer service life, featuring a stainless-steel shaft that enhances corrosion resistance. It can operate safely and reliably even under extreme conditions, such as in humid processes. The pump housing can be made entirely of stainless steel or can be composed of different material combinations, such as stainless steel, bronze, ceramic, and cast iron with ceramic coatings. This allows them to be customized according to specific process requirements, ensuring long-term resistance to erosion and corrosion.

  • Coaxial Close-Coupled design with integrated motor and pump, saving space, easy to install, and convenient for maintenance;
  • Mechanical seals are used, and the flexible valve plate automatically adjusts the size of the exhaust port to achieve high efficiency and energy savings, with no liquid leakage and no environmental pollution;
  • Smooth operation with low noise levels, as low as 62 decibels;
  • Unified corrosion-resistant design, with stainless steel material suitable for more demanding applications;
  • Unique flexible exhaust port design prevents over-compression, ensuring optimal efficiency within its performance range;
  • Explosion-proof motor option available.

The 2BV liquid ring vacuum pump is designed for the evacuation of gases and water vapor, with an inlet pressure capability of 33 mbar absolute (97% vacuum). When equipped with an atmospheric ejector, the inlet pressure can be further reduced to 10 mbar. The ejector can be directly mounted on the vacuum pump. When used as a compressor, the 2BV can achieve a maximum pressure of up to 0.26 MPa (absolute).

During operation, the compression process of gases in the 2BV liquid ring vacuum pump and compressor is isothermal. This means that the temperature remains relatively constant throughout the compression cycle. As a result, when handling flammable and explosive gases, the risk of hazardous situations is significantly reduced. This characteristic makes the 2BV highly versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications.

The 2BV liquid ring vacuum pump and compressor are widely used across various industrial sectors, including pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, packaging, plastics, ceramics, tobacco, and general industrial applications. They are known for their high efficiency, energy savings, safety, and reliability, playing an indispensable role in these industries.
