Flare gas, vent gas, tail gas, or off-gas recovery is the capturing of waste gases during the refining process. No longer is it acceptable to simply dispose of these gases by flaring. To comply with Government and environmental regulations refineries turn to flare gas recovery systems to condense, clean, and repurpose hydrocarbons for other uses. Our liquid ring compressors and flare gas recovery systems provide safe and reliable compression of these potentially explosive and oftentimes dirty gases. Liquid ring technology runs at cooler temperatures and can run with a variety of seal liquid allowing for flexibility in treating toxic or corrosive compounds in the process gas.
